With the MusicCAST™ interactive wireless home music distribution system, everyone in the family can store their CD collection in one central location, create playlists and custom CDs, preserve vinyl records as digital files and transmit music wirelessly to several locations at once. The system is capable of storing approximately 1000 CDs, and the server's self-contained 80GB hard drive has the ability to provide virtually instant access to vast selections of digital music.
Music can be saved to the hard drive either as WAV files directly from the compact disc, or the MusicCAST server can convert the files to the MP3 format for WiFi broadcast to other MusiCAST clients. Up to five clients can connect to the server at once.
